More then 700 Winter swimmers from almost 20 countries have experienced cold water of lake Bled. Over 2000 starts and 75 relay teams are numbers to be proud of. Swimmers on the 450 m deserves special respect! Performance of Aqua Girls was a perfect closer of World Winter Swimming Championships.

Additional registrations for relays will be also accepted one day before competition until 16:00 (4 pm) in the Information center. For additional relays payment should be made at the registration.

ACCREDITATIONS
Each participant will receive accreditation, which is mandatory to have before start. Each accreditation will have own number (set already at the registration – Axxx). You will check your number at the board and then pick up your accreditation in the line where your number will be written.

Accreditations can be picked up in Bled Information Center (Bled Festival Hall, Cesta svobode 11, Bled).

INFORMATION CENTER
Information center will be located in the Festival hall, where you can also book tourist tours, rent a car, pick up accommodation vouchers or buy memorable gifts.

ACCOMMODATION OFFICE
Accommodation office will be in Information Center. Those who have booked accommodation thru organizing committee and haven’t received vouchers yet, will be able to pick them there. Also other matters about accommodation can be solved there (additional rooms, money matters,…).

NEWS FROM BLED
Bled has become a true Winter Fairytale since it’s been snowing for few days! Do not worry – no water is too cold for you!

Antena Productions, which produces a BAFTA award winning magazine programme called UNED5, which is broadcasted on Sunday afternoons throughout the UK, will come to Bled to make a special broadcast from the Championships.

Their host will be participating in the World Winter Swimming Championships and during his stay he would like to talk with winter swimmers to create special report.

I started cold water swimming after being invited to join the British Antarctic Swimming Expedition with Lewis Gordon Pugh in 2005. After swimming amid icebergs, penguins and elephant seals, I was hooked.
 
That is what makes winter swimming so great, locations for cold water swimming are among the most beautiful in the world. Lake Bled in Slovenia, the location of this year's World Winter Swimming Championships, is no exception.

He experienced winter swimming in Championships in Oulu in Finland and loves it ever since.
